On the first day of the Russian Cup that started in Kstovo, the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Sverdlovsk Region citizens won two bronze medals

Evgeny Sukhomlinov (up to 71 kg) and Dmitriy Torgashov (up to 98 kg), athletes of UMMC Sambo Club (Verkhnyaya Pyshma), initiated the medals standing for the Sverdlovsk Region team at the Russian Cup in Kstovo, the Nizhny Novgorod Region, by winning bronze medals. There are two more days of the competition ahead, and it should be reminded that the winners of the National Cup get the right to participate in the Super World Cup, that is a sambo founders memorial competition, which will be traditionally held in Moscow in March, 2022.
