The final day of the event was the most productive for our team. Championship titles went to young and very promising Damir Shamsutdinov (up to 53 kg) from UMMC Sambo Club (Verkhnyaya Pyshma) and Daria Rechkalova (up to 80 kg) from Sambo and Judo Sports School of the Olympic Reserve (Ekaterinburg). Alyona Prokopenko, her colleague and rival in the final, won a silver medal. And Alexey Klyukin (up to 53kg) and Dmitry Torgashov (up to 98kg), Shamsutdinov's experienced teammates, got bronze medals after passing through the sieve of comforting meetings.
As a reminder, Ekaterina Khasanova (up to 50 kg) and Olesya Posylkina (up to 72 kg) from Ekaterinburg, Stanislav Skryabin (up to 79 kg) and Anton Brachev (over 98 kg) representing UMMC Sambo Club became champions before that. Silver medals went to Vladimir Gladkikh from Verkhnyaya Pyshma (up to 58 kg) and Ramed Gukev (up to 71 kg). Bronze got to the account of their teammate Aymergen Atkunov (up to 58 kg), as well as Ekaterinburg girls Gulfia Mukhtarova (up to 59 kg) and Albina Cholombitko (over 80 kg).
Now all our winners will go to the world championship in November.
