Congratulations on Defender of the Fatherland Day!

Sambo was developed by state security agencies and still forms the basis of physical and combat training of soldiers and law enforcement officers - all those who guard our national interests, protect the peace and security of us and our families.

At all times sambists have honorably carried out their military and service duty, often sacrificing their lives to protect their homeland, their comrades, and to complete the task to the end. This was the case during the Great Patriotic War, during local conflicts, as well as during counter-terrorist operations. The vast majority of our leading athletes are still in the service of various law enforcement agencies, embodying the best examples of honor and dignity, both on and off the mat.

Sambo brings up qualities that distinguish real men, current and future defenders of the Fatherland. First and foremost, this is an indomitable character, willpower, a sense of patriotism, and the ability to always come to the aid of others.
