We wish Valeriy G. Stennikov, a unique individual and specialist, Russia’s Merited Coach, Executive Director of UMMC Sambo Club (Verkhnyaya Pyshma) a Happy Birthday! You are our instructor, who created a whole bunch of Russian National, World and European Champions, and the winners of the most prestigious Russian and international tournaments. These days, it feels impossible to imagine modern sambo without him. Then again, it also feels impossible to imagine Valeriy Stennikov outside the bench.

Constantly committed to his favorite pastime, having a consuming passion for, and whenever poised to put his heart and soul into it, not only does he create champions, but he also provides hundreds of boys with the start in life, has them believe in themselves and learn them to attain their goals going beyond the mat.
