Here are the results of the Sverdlovsk Region Championship among boys and girls of 12-14 years old

On April 2-3, the Sverdlovsk Region Championship among boys and girls of 12-14 years old took place at Chaika Sambo Club, Verkhnyaya Salda (42, Engels St.). They competed for medals in 10 weight categories. Following the results of the competition, a regional team was formed to participate in the Championship of the Ural Federal District in Surgut (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area) in the end of April.

Among young men, the tournament proceeded with advantage of Ekaterinburg representatives. They took the half of the first places, three of them got children from Sambo and Judo Sports School of the Olympic Reserve, sambists from Victoriya and Pokolenie schools got one place each. Two gold medals went to children from the Sports School of Lesnoi, two more to Nizhniy Tagil children (Tagilstroy Sports School and Municipal Budgetary Institution Sports School No 2. were distinguished). One "gold" was won by athletes of Children's and Youth Sports School of Severouralsk.

The geography of girls' competitions was maximally wide. Awards of the highest merit were distributed among athletes of 9 towns: Nizhniy Tagil (Tagilstroy Sports School), Sysert (Master-Dinamo Children's and Youth Sports School), Severouralsk (Children's and Youth Sports School), Sukhoi Log (Municipal Autonomous Institution Sports School), Kachkanar (Sambo and Judo Children's and Youth Sports School), Arti (Children's and Youth Sports School named after Yu.V. Meltsov), Ekaterinburg (School of Olympic Reserve), Mikhaylovsk (Sports School No. 2) and Kirovgrad (Municipal Autonomous Institution Sports School). At that, only girls from Sukhoi Log managed to reach the top of the podium twice.
