More than 20 medals were won by the Sverdlovsk Region youth in the Ural Federal District Championship among 12-14 year-old boys and girls

Ten players also made it to the Russian Championship
On April 29-30, the UFD Championship among boys and girls aged 12-14 was held in Surgut (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area). Apart from medals, they also competed for participation in the Russian Championship, which will be held on June 8 to 11 in Armavir (Krasnodar Krai). Only finalists of both boys and girls received the honorable right to go there.
The Sverdlovsk Region was represented by more than 90 athletes in the tournament. In total, they won 24 medals, 10 of which gave them an opportunity to participate in the Russian Championship. In total, 334 young male and female athletes took part in district competitions.
